This costume is good as it can be worn over regular clothes. But it's not exactly as shown at the picture. Bug wings are really small and simple, and need to be reattached - I just stitched them to the costume.

My 3-year-old son wanted to be a ladybug, and we had a hard time finding a costume that wasn't super girlie for him. This one fit the bill perfectly. The entire thing is very soft, and looked great over a black turtleneck and sweatpants. Kept him warm on a chilly night out. The only problems were that the wings are heavy, so they pull down a bit on the back. We just used a safety pin to close the back tighter, and they looked great. Also, we ordered the 3T-4T size, and it was almost too small for him. He's 40 pounds a 42 inches, normally a 4T. The elastic around the legs was almost too snug, and the costume pulled a bit on the crotch. He won't be wearing it as dress-up clothes this year, but for $15, I was thrilled to get to use it for one day. It's really a great deal for a cute costume.
