Sure, it's pricey for a halloween costume, but considering this comes with almost everything you need for people to know exactly who you're dressing as, it's worth it. The jacket, shirt, socks and glove are all very sequiny and wearing them will make you feel like a star. Just pair this outfit with a pair of hemmed up black pants (so you can show off the socks), some black dressy shoes and a black fedora and you're good to go! Throw on some black aviators and be prepared to moonwalk your way to best costume. I feel like the quality of everything is where it should be. Could be a LOT worse, but it's also something that should hold together for many wearings with just some simple care. For starters, the shirt has fake buttons. It would be WAY better if the buttons were what's actually used to keep the shirt closed. Instead, velcro tabs are used. Unfortunately, the velcro hooks catch on the delicate material that the shirt sequins are attached to, and will sort of wreck it if allowed. I just keep the velcro tabs attached to each other and put/pull the shirt on/off like a pullover. Also, the shirt is all polyester and wearing that and the jacket will make you heat up fast if you're dancing. There's also the "stink" factor associated with wearing certain polyesters, and this is one of them. If you're going to be dancing up a storm (and you should be, it's an MJ costume!), make sure to shower first and use plenty of deodorant. By the way, the sequins on the socks are only on the part that's visible, so they're comfortable to wear with your regular shoes. I'm 5'11" with a medium/slim build. I ordered the medium size and it fit perfectly. By the way, if you go as MJ, strangers WILL ask to see some dance moves, so be prepared and watch plenty of youtube videos.
