Dorothy Costume - Darling Dorothy

The color of this dress is a true blue, rather than a bright aqua-looking blue like what is shown on the website photo. I actually didn't purchase this dress from this website initially, because I didn't like the color of it in the picture. I saw it in a costume store and realized the color is much more blue and prettier than what shows in this picture. The size chart is bang-on! And the quality of material is really good as well. It is soft and stretchy. My only issue with the entire costume is that the zipper can easily come undone due to absence of a hook-and-eye clasp at the top of the zipper. But you can do what I did and sew one in or it can easily be fixed with a safety pin, too. The dress does ride up some, also, and it's short, so if you're not a fan of showing off your 'booty', you might want to buy a pair of "Tanga" shorts, chearleading shorts or boy shorts to wear underneath. I bought a pair of red boy shorts from Target which happened to have little "Toto" dogs all over it! I also bought some white thigh-high stockings and used a red garter belt to hold them up. Very sexy! Also purchased red glittery mary-jane high heels from this website. I love it that they are unique and not found anywhere else. Also bought the little Toto-purse basket from this website, too. So cute and functional! Definitely will be pulling out this costume for future Halloweens to come! And if my husband has his way, during romantic nights at home, also!
