I wear extra wide size shoes and my boots have to be extra wide in size with wide calfs, and wide ankles because they are often swollen. These are all different concerns. I was doubtful that these boots would fit but I was desperate. I WAS SO VERY WRONG! Perhaps my advice to someone with large ankles and calf would be to go a size larger. I ordered the boots in a size 10 because 9 was out of stock, this however worked in my favor. The size 10 fit perfect. I wore these boots to my 50th 70's birthday party, going as foxy brown. The boots were hip,cool and the hit of the party. Supriseing the boots were very comfortable and I danced all night. I would buy these boots again, perhaps trying a different color.
P.S.> I would have included a picture but honestly I don't know how to use a computer that well.
