We adored the renaissance boy costume. We got lauded everywhere. People all over NYC told my son that it was the best costume. It worked as Hamlet one night with an added skull, as Christopher Columbus, and renaissance dude other nights. He loved it. He just needed to wear his black sneakers and it was perfect. We hope to get some other use during the year in literature or history activities.
The costume looked very elaborate and yet was easy to wear. It looked real and rich.
