High Seas Buccaneer Costume - Toddler Girls

The costume is very well made, and for the first time in my life I've bought a costume that actually DOES look like the one in the picture! The hat & boots are a bit tricky to keep on, I had to iron them and add a couple of stitches to the boots as they were slightly too big in comparison to the rest of the costume, but as costumes are made to standard sizes, this isn't a big problem and something I expected. I was very pleased the blouse was sewn into the vest and skirt. The way the advert was writen I thought the blouse wasn't included and I would have to buy one seperately. The only thing in the picture you don't get are the tights! I am really impressed that this isn't another case of false advertising! I was really pleased with the costume and am so glad I ordered it, my only criticism is that the dress was smaller than I hoped for. I checked the measurments before ordering and even measure my daughter to ensure it would fit...unless she had a growth spurt the measurements are slightly out. Luckily, as the fabric is stretchy and the belt covers the waist line of the dress & the fact the skirt is supposed to be quite long, it's not obvious it's too small. Overall I am very pleased with the costume, it is without a doubt the coolest kid's costume I've ever seen! It even arrived very quickly (I ordered from the UK)! The only thing missing is a sword!
