We do not get notified of these changes by the manufacturer no matter how slight or how drastic the change is. Typically the end consumer is the first to notify us. How do I shop the site?![]()
There are multiple ways to search and shop the site. From our experience and research we have broken down costumes to age and gender to make it easy for you to shop and bring back relevant search results. Please use the left navigation bar or use the “NEED IDEAS” list on the bottom of every page. You can also use the “SEARCH BOX” in the upper left hand corner and type in what you are looking for.
How does the shopping cart work? ![]()
Whenever you add an item to your cart, the shopping cart page lists the particular item to the cart. Order, size, price, and estimated total is all detailed for you. You can view your shopping cart at any time by hitting the link found in the upper right hand corner. Once there, you can adjust the quantity of an item by entering a new quantity in the box and then pressing the "Update Cart”. To delete an item from your order, simply click the yellow button marked "Delete" to the right of the number. If you have finished shopping, you can enter your preferred shipping option. If you wish to continue shopping, you may select "Back to Shopping" and you will be returned to the item you were last viewing. When you are ready to pay for your purchase, please click any of the 2 “Checkout Now” buttons on the page and proceed to pay.
How do I know what size to buy? ![]()
We have used the manufacturers specifics as a guideline to provide you with the most accurate size chart we could make. If an item does not allow you to select a size, this means that it comes only in the one size. You should always refer to the size chart for more sizing information. If you are in-between sizes or unsure, as a rule of thumb it is always best to go up one size, especially for children’s costumes as well as more revealing adult costumes.
When and how do I make a payment? ![]()
After you place items in your shopping cart you may proceed to “Checkout Now”. After you get through the address and shipping pages, you will move to the next page where at that time you select your method of payment. All major credit cards and Paypal are accepted. Simply enter your credit card information and proceed to confirm the order.

How can I be sure my order was received? ![]()
On the final step of checkout you will get a confirmation message that your order has been confirmed. In addition the email address you submitted during checkout will be emailed the confirmation.

If you get to the last screen and get a confirmation number then your order has been made and we will email you tracking as soon as it ships. More then likely in all other instances your order did not get processed and we advise you to go through and place the order from the start. Remember that we always email order confirmations so if you did not get one when your computer froze then you did not complete the order all the way through.
I am getting a credit card or address error message when I checkout, what do I do?![]()
We have set up guidelines for our orders to be approved through our merchant processor, this means the number you put in is typed incorrectly or the expiration and or the 3-4 digit CVV number does not match. Please verify the credit card information as well as the billing address match exactly or the order will not work. If you need further assistance please contact us or your financial institution. We process your telephone orders through the same system you do, so please make sure all your information is accurate before calling.
Is the item in stock? ![]()
If you can ad an item to the shopping cart then it is available for sale. It will be clearly marked next to the item if the item is out of stock.
If an item is out of stock when will you get more? ![]()
We do our best to stock every costume all year long. Using our sales history and sophisticated software we anticipate buying trends and try to stock our shelves so you will always have what you are looking for. Halloween is an especially busy time of the year for us and manufacturers do often run out for the season. We will post estimated arrivals when available. We do stock over 3000 items so if one item is out we are sure you will find something else to make you happy.

How soon will my card be refunded if I return an item? How and when does my credit card get refunded? ![]()
Once your package has been received at costumekingdom.com, your refund will be processed in a timely manner. Most returns are processed within 7 business days, during Halloween please allow up to 2 weeks. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this refund has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information. My package was undeliverable or refused what happens now? ![]()
If you decide to refuse any shipments or the package is undeliverable as addressed, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to costumekingdom.com. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund. We enter in your shipping information electronically so there will be no mistakes, so please make sure you check your information.

When will my order ship? ![]()
We know how important it is to get your package in a timely manner. That is why we usually ship all domestic orders placed by 3pm Pacific Standard time MON-FRI THE SAME DAY!!!!!. Take advantage of our hard work ethic and speed.
How long will my shipment take? ![]()
Estimated time of arrival has most to do with the level of shipping method you select. We are located in Southern California and shipping typically takes anywhere between 2-6 business days anywhere in the Continental U.S. from the time of shipment. We offer expedited shipping services depending on how fast you need your item. These expedited options are reasonably priced and you will have this option at checkout.

After your order has been successfully completed Costume Kingom will begin the process of packaging and shipping your order. When the order is shipped we will send you a email notification to the email address provided with the tracking number and estimated date of delivery.
Can I ship to a different address or make a purchase for someone else? ![]()
Yes, we allow during checkout for you to submit a different ship to address. As long as your credit card billing information matches and is approved we allow you to ship to a different address, whether it be your work address or a friend or family member.

If your order is being shipped outside of California, you will not be charged sales tax. All residents of CA are required to pay sales tax at a rate of 8.25% on the purchase price of the order. Shipping fees are not calculated with sales tax.

At Costumekingdom.com we pride ourselves on fast shipping and reliable service. Therefore, if there is a change in address or a cancellation of order request we more than likely will have already processed your order for shipping to have shipped the item out before we come aware of your notice.
